Curran Racing Chooses Nitrous Express For 2003 Season

Bartlett, IL - Bob Curran Racing has chosen Nitrous Express as the exclusive supplier of their nitrous system components for the 2003 race season. The team will be using their Nitrous Express Shark Fogger system on both the NMCA Limited Street and PRO Xtreme Street motor programs. Both power plants are courtesy of Fast Times Motorworks.

The NMCA L/S combo will pump at 360 cubes. The long block consists of a Dart Little M small block topped with Pro Action 23 degree aluminum heads and a Wilson Manifolds sheet metal intake with a Pro Systems carb. A big Comp Cams roller will be lifting the valves. The PRO X/S Combo will measure out at 352 cubes. A Dart block will also be used but cast iron Pro Action 23 degree heads will direct the air/fuel mixture to the cylinders courtesy of an Edelbrock Manifold and Pro Systems carb of course. A Comp Cams roller will also be handling the bump stick chores.

Both motors will be blowing it out a set of Straightline Bullet Muffles. The gear changes will be thru a Don Stanley/TSI built power glide (not to rule out a Liberty 5 speed and Ram Clutch of Scavo's already sitting in the garage for L/S). Mickey Thompson Tires will provide the hook with a set of ET/Streets 31x14.5 for L/S and 29x10.5 ET/Drags for the PRO Series. We feel that working with Jon Phillips of Nitrous Express and the help of fellow L/S Racer Bill Trovato will be a major benefit to our program. With the team of Jeff D'Agostino/Nick Scavo making the tuning calls, the Bob Curran Racing should be in the top of the field this upcoming season.
